We all had a great time in Williamsburg before Christmas! Hyrum loved the horses, fire (in the blacksmith shop), and the fife and drum corps. Hyrum is just checking which way the wind is blowing before telling us where to go. :)

Hyrum came up to me one day with a great big grin on his face. He had just put his crocs on by himself. On the wrong feet, of course. Later, he decided to try Daddy's shoes on too...

Here is Hyrum writing his name...just kidding :)

After all the books we brought home after helping out with the bonus room blitz, we needed another bookshelf, so Greg built another (stacking) bookshelf. If they just look like three crates sitting on top of each other, well, that's kind of the look we were going for. We'll stain them when it gets a little warmer outside.

After about three months of saponification, Greg finally wrapped up the soap he made. Here are a few bars.

We've been having some really cold, snowy days around here. The University cancelled class because of the cold for the first time since 1978 on Tuesday. There's about a foot of snow on the ground that just won't leave. Luckily, we don't have to shovel our sidewalk.

These are great pictures! That little Hyrum is about as cute as they come! I'm glad he knows how to tell which way the wind is blowing! The soap and the shelves look great! I'd like to hear more about this soap-making process.
Thanks for posting!
